ALBANIA - IPO HQ AND IPO ITALY TRAINING FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT
With the initiative of IPO HQ and the instructors of IPO Section Italy Dr. Davide Capsoni and Renato Greco, experts of the False Documents Unit of the Local Police of Milan, on December 7th, 2024 was held a training course titled "False documents, how to recognize them", on document control and forgery recognition in Tirana at the Mondial Hotel organized by IPO Section Albania.
The training intended for Law Enforcement Agencies was supported by the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Justice, and the General Directorate of the Albanian State Police.
Together with the partners, we managed to fulfill our objective by inviting to this professional training over 40 Police Officers, Senior level Specialists of the Traffic Police, Economic and Financial Crime structures, the Cyber and Border Police where the IPO instructors held a very important lecture for law enforcement structures.
In this training course, which was developed under the auspices of the Executive President of IPO HQ and President of IPO Section Italy, the Criminologist Dr. Mareglen Tomori, the Superintendent of the Police of Milan, Expert of the False Documents Unit, Instructor of IPO Section Italy Dr. Capsoni Davide and Greco Renato explained very clearly and professionally the details for checking and recognizing false documents such as driving licenses, passports, identity cards, and residence permits.
The recognition of false documents is an important process both in the prevention of their use and in the prevention of organized crime at the international level since the production and use of false documents is a criminal offense that knows no borders and undermines the security of any country and community. as well as providing benefits to the individuals who produce them and those who use them.
Regarding this phenomenon, IPO HQ and IPO Section Italy have in the 2024 program a series of training courses for law enforcement, which will help to increase their professional capacities as well as to prevent and reduce crime.
At the end of the training, the main staff of the IPO and the training instructors had the pleasure of being invited to the General Directorate of the State Police of the Republic of Albania to visit even the premises of the Office of Communication with the Media.
