At the beginning of the day on the order of agenda, they had a meeting with the

This meeting consisted of the development and concretization of IPO projects and programs in the coming years for the benefit of the community where was received the maximum support from Mr. Bekiroglou and the municipality of Xanthi.
Afterward, the next meeting was at the Xanthi Police Department where our team was received by the Deputy Director of Police Mr. Poulios Ioannis who welcomed with great pleasure the initiative of creation and formalization of IPO Section Greece and expressed his readiness to join our international team for the development of the section in a professional manner and the realization of projects for the benefit of the community and law enforcement.
Mr. Poulios Ioannis graduated in 2002 from the Greek Police Academy and has served in various services. For the past 8 years, he has served in the Xanthi traffic department as commander. He has participated in various seminars on road safety, illegal immigration, international organized crime, etc.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Tomori, as a sign of gratitude for this hospitality, presented Mr. Ioannis with the IPO symbol which represents the international team of professionals who play the role of a bridge between the community and law enforcement forces for civil security, education and community policing.
The next meeting took place at the Xanthi Police Academy where our team was received by one of the leaders of this institution.
This very important institution in the service of the police, which is also very important for the development of IPO programs, has for some time been serving as a reception and assistance center for migrants entering Greece with the motivation to seek asylum.
The head of the institution explained to our team the program and the work that is done in this center as well as the difficulties that they face every day.
At the end of the official meetings, our team held several different meetings with important people who are joining the IPO Greece Section.
In conclusion of the meetings held, our team received support and encouragement for the Border Security and Migration Flow Management project, a project which will start next year with its epicenter in Xanthi as it is a key country with several border crossings between Turkey and Bulgaria and will include the North Macedonia and Albania.
We are pleased with this visit and we are convinced that this is a very big step in the implementation of serious nationwide projects which will soon affect many other countries in the Balkan region and Europe.
