IPO Section Serbia activity

IPO section Serbia organized a webinar dedicated to the abuse of religion for the purpose of extremism on December 27, 2020.

Members and citizens of Serbia had the opportunity to get acquainted with the basic data related to all leading world religions during the two-hour Webinar.

After that, they were shown, chronologically and historically, various cases of abuse of religion for the purpose of conquering power, territory, people.

The last part of the Webinar was dedicated to terrorism in the 20th and 21st centuries as well as ways of prevention.

Citizens were extremely interested and actively participated in the education.

They were most interested in how to recognize online recruitment and attempts at radicalization.

the IPO President Dr. Ilija Zivotic
