IPO AT NATO STABILITY POLICING CoE CONFERENCE

Yesterday, July 7, took place the Conference "Lessons Learned", Stability Policing in Afghanistan: did NATO miss an opportunity? Lessons from a 20-year campaign.

At the invitation of the Director of NATO SP CoE, the Executive President - CEO of the International Police Organization IPO Dr. Tomori Mareglen, had the honor to attend the high military level workshop and conference organized by the NATO Stability Policing Centre of Excellence in Vicenza, Italy, from 5 to 7 July 2022.

It was a pleasure to meet the Director of NATO SP CoE Giuseppe De Magistris, Colonel ITA Carabinieri, a high-level professional and an excellent person with exceptional communication, with whom I talked in those few minutes about the program and objectives of the IPO, professional intersections and possibilities for cooperation as, the purpose of NATO SP CoE are not only the police and military aspects, but it also has cooperation with civilians for the best policing and stability in the community said Dr. Tomori.

Dr. Tomori handed to Colonel De Magistris the documents and the IPO program as well as the official request for future cooperation, who accepted it with pleasure, thanking him for participating in this very important activity.

During this day Dr. Tomori also had the honor to meet Ms. Irene Fellin, NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for Women, Peace, and Security, where they talked about possible cooperation that can be in the future since the IPO program intersects quite well with the sector it covers.

I also had the pleasure of getting to know many other high-level soldiers and I honestly felt very professionally valued by their hospitality and consideration for our Organization, and I want to emphasize that the IPO was the only one organization from the civil security sector that participated in this high-level military and police event said Dr. Tomori.

We will continue to work with seriousness and professionalism, passionately following our long path to contribute together, for a safer community, for a safer tomorrow.
