Migration remains a global phenomenon closely linked to sustainable development, security, and human rights. When governed through inclusive policies and effective international cooperation, migration becomes a driver of stability, economic growth, and social cohesion.

In this context, Dr. Mareglen Tomori, Criminologist and Migration Expert, as well as Executive President of the International Police Organization IPO, had the pleasure of participating in an international panel discussion together with European and Asian organizations. The International Police Organization has contributed and continues to contribute concretely to the fields of migration management, prevention of cross-border crime, and the protection of human rights.

The panel discussion focused on:

• migration in the current global context,

• the link between migration and sustainability,

• the need for stronger regional and international cooperation looking toward 2026 and beyond.
