A delegation of the International Police Organization, led by the founder Professor Ilija Životić, was officially invited to participate in the Berlin Security Conference 2025, held on 18–19 November 2025 in Berlin. Representatives of the German Section of IPO were also present at the event, joining hundreds of high-level participants from across Europe.

This year’s conference, sponsored by Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden, gathered defence ministers, chiefs of general staff, senior military commanders, and representatives of the foreign affairs ministries of EU member states. The Berlin Security Conference is recognized as one of Europe’s most important annual platforms for discussions on defence, security, and transatlantic cooperation.
Discussions focused extensively on the heroic resistance of Ukraine to Russian aggression, highlighting lessons learned from the battlefield, particularly the use of modern drone systems, technological innovation, and advanced combat capabilities. Participants examined how modern warfare is evolving and the implications this has for European and global security.
Another key point of the conference was the growing threat of hybrid warfare, including cyber operations, disinformation, and attacks on critical infrastructure. Speakers emphasized the need to strengthen societal resilience, enhance multi-layered defence systems, and improve cooperation between EU and NATO structures.
Participation in the Berlin Security Conference allows the International Police Organization to remain engaged with the latest security developments, maintain dialogue with international institutions, and continue strengthening its role in global efforts to promote stability, resilience, and community safety.
IPO remains committed to following international trends and contributing to the building of a safer and more secure environment for all.
