During the 69th Session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND), convened at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Vienna, the IPO delegation organized and hosted an SME roundtable dedicated to the theme “Digital Recovery Support.”

The roundtable gathered a diverse group of subject-matter experts, practitioners, and stakeholders from across multiple regions, including Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. The discussion provided a valuable multilateral platform for the exchange of knowledge, perspectives, and experiences related to the role of digital tools and innovative approaches in supporting recovery processes.

Participants engaged in constructive dialogue on emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities associated with digital recovery support mechanisms. Particular attention was given to the importance of strengthening international cooperation, promoting evidence-based practices, and fostering cross-sector collaboration among governmental, non-governmental, and technical communities.

The event served as an important opportunity not only to deepen the collective understanding of digital solutions within recovery support systems but also to strengthen professional networks among experts and institutions working in this field. The roundtable further contributed to identifying potential areas for future cooperation, joint initiatives, and collaborative projects aimed at advancing effective and inclusive recovery support frameworks.

The IPO delegation expresses its appreciation to all participating experts for their valuable contributions and looks forward to continuing the dialogue and collaboration within the international community.
