IPO in Poland to mark the 100th anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

On April 24, 2026, IPO proudly participated in the International Shooting Competition for Law Enforcement, organized to mark the 100th anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
During the event, medals were awarded to Generals and Commanders representing police and military forces, honoring their dedication, courage, loyalty, and service to their countries. We are especially proud that our Secretary General, Ombretta Romano, received this recognition as well, highlighting IPO’s ongoing commitment to education, the promotion of shared values, respect for human rights, and support for law enforcement professionals who serve their communities every day.
We extend our sincere thanks to President Jarosław Dąbrowski of the Patriotic and Educational Association “Pamięć” and to Robert Matracki of the Central Military Sports Club “Legia” Warsaw – Shooting Section, for their invitation and for the opportunity to contribute as co-organizers of this meaningful event.
Beyond competition, the day fostered new connections and friendships, reaffirming that loyalty and mutual respect transcend borders and differences.
We are also proud to share that our IPO shooting team—featuring Dan Prastalo (IPO Section Slovenia) alongside two members of the Warsaw City Police Force—achieved an excellent 3rd place out of over 200 participants in the handgun competition.
