IPO MONTENEGRO AND MUNICIPALITY OF BAR LAUNCH WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT PROJECT

The International Police Organization Montenegro and the Municipality of Bar signed an agreement on the implementation of the project titled “Empowered Women – Foundation of a Safe Community,” which will be funded by the Municipality of Bar.





The project aims to empower women through educational and preventive activities in the field of personal safety and will be implemented in partnership with local institutions and the community. Through a series of workshops, training sessions, and public events, women will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills that contribute to their independence and sense of security.


The agreement was signed by representatives of the Municipality of Bar and the Executive Director of IPO Montenegro, Momčilo Šćekić, officially marking the beginning of cooperation on this important project. The signing ceremony was also attended by the Secretary General of IPO Montenegro, Boris Janković.


With this project, the International Police Organization Montenegro and the Municipality of Bar send a clear message about the importance of strengthening the role of women in society and jointly building a safe and supportive environment for all women of Bar.
