IPO MONTENEGRO PROJECT WITH THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT
Representatives of the International Police Organization of Montenegro - IPO Montenegro, including President mr Ivan Pekic, Executive Director Momcilo Scekic, and IPO MNE Coordinator Boris Jankovic, today signed a contract with the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs of Montenegro, represented by Merima Kurtagic, for a project in the field of protecting individuals with disabilities in traffic, titled: "For PWDs (persons with disabilities), the message is strong, accessibility is very important for us." IPO Montenegro will implement this project in the coming period under the auspices of the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs of Montenegro.
Individuals with disabilities often face challenges in everyday situations, and accessibility in traffic plays a crucial role in facilitating their lives. Achieving accessibility involves adapted infrastructure, vehicles, and information to enable unhindered movement for people with disabilities.
In addition to accessibility in traffic, changes in societal awareness of the needs of people with disabilities are also crucial.
Efforts toward greater accessibility make the community a more inclusive place where everyone can freely participate in all aspects of life, including mobility in traffic.
IPO Montenegro expresses gratitude to the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs for the trust placed in them and looks forward to continuing successful cooperation!
