The Director of the IPO Disciplinary Commission and Special Adviser to the IPO President attended the National Conference “Youth Health Before Profit”, held on Tuesday, 9 June 2026, at the Putnik Inn Hotel in Belgrade.

The event brought together representatives of state institutions, international organizations, experts, civil society organizations, and young people, with the aim of strengthening cross-sector cooperation in protecting youth from the harmful impact of alcohol.

During the conference, participants presented research findings on alcohol-related harm, its impact on the state budget, and the economic benefits of preventive measures. Special attention was given to improving the legislative framework, strengthening inspection oversight, financing prevention programs, and ensuring that the voices and perspectives of young people are included in public policy development.

The presence of an IPO representative at this important event confirms the organization’s commitment to supporting initiatives that contribute to a safer, healthier, and more responsible society, especially when it comes to the protection of children and young people.
