IPO SERBIA JOINS NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON COMBATING DRUG ABUSE

On the occasion of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the International Police Organization – IPO Serbia was officially represented by Mr. Nebojša Ćurčić at a national-level conference held at the Palace of Serbia.

The event, organized by the Office for Combating Drugs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia—an institutional partner of IPO through a signed memorandum of cooperation—took place on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

During the conference, the International Police Organization contributed by emphasizing the vital role of international cooperation in addressing the global challenge of drug trafficking. IPO also highlighted the importance of preventive education, early intervention, and strong partnerships between law enforcement agencies and civil society.

Through its official participation, IPO reaffirmed its dedication to supporting Serbia’s national strategies in combating drug abuse, while also promoting regional and cross-border collaboration aimed at safeguarding communities and reducing the impact of illicit substances.
