The Swiss section of the International Police Organization (IPO), represented by its President and Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva, Imet Cafleshi, had the honour of participating in the high-level debate “The Geopolitics of Emerging Technologies – A Conversation with Colin Kahl, former National Security Advisor to Vice President Biden – A Geneva Security Debate.”

The event gathered international experts, diplomats, and representatives of key institutions to reflect on the profound impact of emerging technologies on global security, international relations, and geopolitical dynamics.
During the debate, IPO Swiss highlighted its commitment to monitoring technological developments in fields such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, robotics, and modern surveillance systems, emphasizing how these innovations are reshaping security challenges and international cooperation.
