President of IPO Awarded by IBSSA for Contribution to Civil Security

During the IBSSA Congress, organized by the International Bodyguard and Security Services Association, the President of the International Police Organization (IPO), Professor Ilija Životić, was awarded a special plaque in recognition of his contribution to the development and promotion of civil security.


IBSSA, recognized as the first international civil security organization and founded in 1994, brings together professionals and experts from the security sector with the aim of strengthening cooperation, professional standards, and international partnerships in the field of civil protection and security services.

The prestigious recognition was presented to Professor Ilija Životić by the founder of IBSSA, Mr. George Popper, as a sign of appreciation for his continuous dedication, leadership, and commitment to advancing civil security at both national and international levels.


This award represents an important acknowledgment of IPO’s ongoing work in supporting security professionals, promoting education and cooperation, and contributing to the development of a safer and more organized civil security environment.
