As IPO always is going in the way to educate members and to share experiences from our professionals, we announce our next webinar “Ethical Hacking” which will be lectured by our section leader Romania and cyber security expert Mr. Stefan Epistatu.
Ethical hacking is a process of detecting vulnerabilities in an application, system, or organization's infrastructure that an attacker can use to exploit an individual or organization. They use this process to prevent cyberattacks and security breaches by lawfully hacking into the systems and looking for weak points.
Types of ethical hacking:
• Web application hacking
• Social engineering
• System hacking
• Hacking wireless networks
• Web server hacking
Ethical hacking involves an authorized attempt to gain unauthorized access to a computer system, application, or data.
Carrying out an ethical hack involves duplicating strategies and actions of malicious attackers. Living in the world of the internet and cyber crime, without knowing the real threat of hackers, even if you “Only” enter in social or do your usually obligations like paying a bills over e-banking, you can meet with danger called “hackers”. In this “modern” world, we all should know how to react and protect our selves.
In our next webinar, Mr. Epistatu will talk about this global problem and try to help all of us, to learn how to protect our selves and to use the internet in smart way, because wanted or not, modern age depends from internet and is needed to learn at least basic protection.
