IPO CONTRIBUTION AT THE 9TH INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE OF THE SECURITY ACADEMY OF ALBANIA

On 23 November 2023, was held the 9th International Scientific Conference by the Academy of Security of the Albanian State Police, where the IPO Executive President - CEO, Dr. Mareglen Tomori together with colleagues and members of IPO Section Albania Mrs. Josi Osmani & Mrs. Gjoka Bona, presented the scientific paper on the topic "The Role and Contribution of the International Police Organization IPO in Cyber Security in Albania".

The proceedings of the conference were opened by the Rector of the Security Academy, Prof. Dr. Ilirjan Mandro, followed by the greeting of the Deputy General Director of the State Police, Senior Director Sokol Bizhga, as well as the Ambassador of the OSCE Presence in Tirana, Mr. Bruce Berton.

The conference held its proceedings in two sessions. Researchers and scientists from Albania and other countries presented their works at this International Conference.

The work of our team in this conference was presented by Mrs. Josiba Osmani who professionally spoke about this scientific work and the key points that our organization intends to contribute by cooperating with all Albanian institutions involved in the fight against cybercrime.

The scientific work was published in the book of the Security Academy "Policing and Security - Crime and Cyber ​​Security" with the support of the OSCE Presence in Albania.

This publication in the Security Academy of the IPO team is the second after the one published last year at the 8th scientific conference with the thematic "Security in the Community and Security Officers in Schools as part of Civil Protection", where the topic of Dr. Tomori was dedicated to the work of our organization by including the IPO in an important aspect with the theme "International Police Organization IPO" as part of the international training structure.  ( Click and read the full article )
