IPO LEADERSHIP AT EUROPEAN POLICE CONGRESS BERLIN

At the invitation of the organizers, the IPO representatives were participants in the 25th European Police Congress in Berlin, Germany 10-12 May this year.


This prestigious police event was attended by, among others, the Ministers of the Interior of the Federal Republic of Germany, Bavaria, Austria, Spain, the EU Chief Prosecutor, the Deputy Director of Europol, the top management of several EU police and numerous security experts.



Manufacturers of state-of-the-art police patrol and armored vehicles, police equipment, and electronic devices of the latest generation also played a significant role.

The focus of the Congress was on the security challenges posed by the war in Ukraine, which the EU police are facing.

There was talk of recording war crimes and ways to help the Ukrainian police in that.


The participants paid great attention to threats such as the strengthening of radical righting and Islamist organizations in the EU, but also the fight against organized crime. During the congress, several panels were held where experts spoke on various topics and our team attended the following:

1. Police of the Future / 2. Open Source Intelligence Tools / 3. Cyber security



On this occasion, our representatives the IPO Executive President Dr. Tomori Mareglen and the IPO founder Dr. Ilija Zivotic together with the Seceretary General of CCIO Dr. Dorina Bala has made a large number of contacts and agreed on several forms of cooperation for our members so that in the fall of this year we expect new types of education through the IPO Academy.
