IPO Section Montenegro Activity

On November 13, 2020, the second workshop on the topic of peer violence was held at the Secondary School of Economics and Catering. The workshop included a group of second year students of this school, mentor and lecturer on this topic was Šukurica Dina. Vice President of the Executive Board of IPO Montenegro.

Today, the students showed great interest in spreading awareness of this issue.

What is especially encouraging is the fact that students are increasingly showing interest and participating in the discussion and giving suggestions on today's problems.

Through the workshop, we notice about the attitude of children towards violence and that it has become "modern" to behave aggressively.

As violence happens everywhere: in the classrooms, in the hallways, on the playgrounds, on the street, we all witness it. The question is whether we know how to recognize him, whether we do enough to prevent him, to help the victim, to deal with the perpetrator. These facts show that modern society brings changes in all areas of life, and we are witnesses that this is the time to belong to a group at any cost.

That is why it is necessary to be in constant contact with children and listen to them because they know their peers best and their way of thinking and reacting.

The dynamics of this workshop takes place according to the program of the project with respect to NKT measures. A lecture on the topic of peer violence, which is conducted through a workshop, is scheduled for Monday, November 16, 2020. with a group of third-year students of the same school. We thank the school that recognized the need to work together to create an environment in which children grow up without violence.

Every child has the right to attention and respect, we are obliged to provide that for them.
