IPO Section Montenegro activity stop violence
Stop violence, exclusion and intolerance through sports and using sports as a way
to resolve conflicts are some of the goals of the project "Sports against vices and violence",
which the IPO Section Montenegro started in cooperation with the volleyball school
"Mornar" from Bar, trains boys under the age of 13 and on that occasion handed them
a letter of thanks as a socially responsible sports team ".
Sport as a social phenomenon is one of the most effective tools in the fight against violence.
Various studies have shown that children who play sports show a greater propensity for prosocial behavior and the development of cohesion with others.
Also, the occurrence of violence and social exclusion among children in sports clubs has proven to be very rare. It has been shown that children who play sports are more inclined to a positive approach and coping in situations of violence and social exclusion than other primary school children.
The International Police Organization of Montenegro, in cooperation with OK "Mornar"
from Bar, will continue cooperation and education on the topic:
"Sports against vices and violence", which will contribute to a healthy lifestyle and the development of young players both on and off the field.
